2020 RAV4 Performance Features

The Toyota RAV4’s towing capacity is about much more than just what’s under the hood: there are a variety of features that enable this SUV to perform such impressive feats. While the RAV4 comes standard with front-wheel drive, all-wheel drive is available. Upper-level trims are available with Dynamic Torque Vectoring All-Wheel Drive (TV-AWD) with Rear Driveline Disconnect.

Regardless of the trim level you select, you’ll have the benefit of three available drive modes:

  • Sport: Enhances performance over efficiency.
  • ECO: Maximizes fuel economy in lieu of performance.
  • Normal: Strikes a balance between fuel economy and performance.

The drive modes allow you to switch up your driving style on the fly to suit both your needs and your mood during Watsonville and Santa Clara commutes. Higher trim levels offer additional drive modes for Mud and Sand, Rock and Dirt, and Snow.

Other performance features of the 2020 RAV include 8.4 to 8.5 inches of ground clearance, Active Cornering Assist, and power-assisted ventilated 12.0-inch front disc brakes.
